a young husband-and-wife dental team seeks to upgrade their office into a serene, airy space that welcomes clientele. after designing the couple’s master suite at home, dawn understood their style and was ready to tackle this commercial update.

Wanting the office to feel more like a residence than a typical office, the clients asked Dawn to incorporate residential trends. The practice also needed to function beautifully. With the assistance of a professional dental contractor to handle the technical equipment, Dawn set about bringing lightness into the office. A calming, easy-on-the-eyes color scheme was chosen, with pops of unique artworks (many by local Cleveland artists) throughout the office.

The waiting area was fully overhauled to add accessibility as well as coziness. The ceiling was raised and the furnishings made to custom fit the space. The custom sofas (covered in Knoll fabrics) bring both comfort and elegance, playing well with the contemporary chairs alongside. A chandelier and live greenery add to the homey feeling. 

A hallway off the waiting room welcomes clients with distinctive wallpaper in painterly stripes and a serene blue. A custom commissioned installation from local artist Lauren HB brings joy and lightness, evoking a toothy smile with its shape and textures. Luxury vinyl tile acts as easy-to-clean flooring throughout. Within each procedure room, the calming color scheme continues, and dentists within the practice enjoy utilizing upgraded, refined equipment and fixtures.

The break room is designed to be as cozy and welcoming as the rest of the space, with every appliance the practice could need. By giving their employees and dental clients a peaceful space, this dental practice became a delight for all who use it.
